This page specifically explains how Nod accesses, uses, stores, shares, protects, retains and deletes Google user data when you connect your Google account. Complements the Privacy Policy (https://thenodai.com/privacy-policy#google).
1. What Google connects for
Nod is a management platform for training, consulting and service businesses. It allows its users to schedule calls with their clients. If the user connects their Google account, the Platform creates the event of each call they schedule in their Google Calendar, with a Google Meet link, and invites the client. The connection is optional: without it, calls are scheduled anyway, without an event in Google Calendar.

We do not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Contacts, or any other Google services.
3. What data we access
- The email address of the connected Google account.
- The calendar events that the Platform itself creates: its identifier, its Google Meet link and the call data that the user has entered on the Platform (title, date, time, description and email of the invited client).
We do not read or save the other events on your calendar.
4. How we use data
Exclusively for the function described in section 1, visible to the user on the Platform. We do not use Google user data for any other purpose.
5. How we store and protect data
- The access token that Google gives us is stored encrypted with AES-256-GCM.
- The event ID and Google Meet link are stored in the corresponding call, within the user's business space, separate from other businesses.
- The data is hosted on servers located in the European Union and travels encrypted with HTTPS.
- Only the user's business and their team members with permission can see their calls.
6. Who we share the data with
We do not sell, rent, or share Google user data with third parties. They are only processed by the infrastructure providers that host the Platform, to the extent strictly necessary to provide the service and under contract (https://thenodai.com/subprocessors), or when required by law.
7. Limited use statement
The use and transfer of information received from Google APIs comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements. Google data is only used to create and delete calendar events you schedule on Nod. We do not use raw, aggregated or derived Google user data to develop, improve or train general AI or machine learning models, nor do we transfer it to third-party AI services.
Nod's use and transfer to any other application of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including limited use requirements.
In particular, Nod:
- Google only uses user data to provide or improve the user-visible functions described on this page.
- It does not transfer data to third parties, except when necessary to offer or improve those functions, to comply with the law or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, with notice to users.
- Does not use or transfer the data for advertising, including personalized, interest-based or retargeting advertising.
- It does not sell the data.
- Does not use or transfer the data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
- Does not allow anyone to read the data except with the user's express consent for specific messages, when necessary for security reasons, such as investigating abuse, to comply with the law, or when the data has been aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.
- It does not use the data to develop, improve or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
8. Conservation
We retain the access token as long as the connection to Google is active. Event IDs are retained with the call for as long as it exists on the Platform.
9. How to disconnect and delete data
- From the Platform: Integrations → Google Calendar → Disconnect. The token is removed instantly.
- From your Google account: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions → Nod → Eliminar el acceso.
- Delete associated data: write to hello@thenodai.com from your account email. We delete the associated Google user data within a maximum period of 30 days and we confirm this to you. More information at https://thenodai.com/data-deletion.
Deleting a call on the Platform also deletes its event from the user's Google Calendar.
